St. Jerome Miani School, a unit of Somascan Father’s International Education Mission, was established on 16 June, 2013. The School focuses on imparting and providing quality education, discipline and infrastructure for the holistic growth of the students. The School is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi (Affiliation number - 3330381) approved by the Government of Chhattisgarh and is fully a English Medium School.
“Our inspiration St. Jerome Emiliani (1481-1537) is the founder of the Somascan fathers who run this institution and many other institutions in different part of the country such as St. Jerome’s Art and Science College, Nagercoil - Kanyakumari; St. Jeome’s P. U. College, Bangalore; St. Thomas High School, Wanaparthy - Hyderabad; Sanjevini B. Ed. College, Mallepalli - Hyderabad; Miani ITES Education, Bangalore; and Miani Kids Zone Bangalore. St. Jerome Emiliani’s intense spiritual life and dedication to the works of mercy for the reformation of the society drew many to follow his example. He gathered them together in Somasca in 1535 and founded the congregation of the Somascan Fathers. He was declared as Saint by Pope Clement XIII in 1928. Pope Pius XI proclaimed him the “Universal Patron of Needy Youth and Abandoned Children.” The Somascan Fathers remain faithful in carrying out the charism of the founder throughout the world and they are known for their time-honoured tradition of inspiring quality education to the society and rendering social service without discrimination. ”
